The Second China-ASEAN Prosecutors-General Conference　

The second China-ASEAN Prosecutors-General Conference was convened in Bangkok, Thailand from September 16 to 19, 2005. The theme of this conference was "enhancing regional procuratorial cooperation to protect human rights". Chitchai Wannasathit, then deputy prime minister and minister of justice of the Kingdom of Thailand attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.

About 200 delegates from China and ASEAN member states attended the conference, including prosecutors-general and deputy prosecutors-general, and attorneys-general and deputy attorneys-general. The conference called on all parties giving full play to the functions of prosecutorial organs and strengthening law-enforcement cooperation to protect human rights effectively.
