The Third China-ASEAN Prosecutors-General Conference　

The third China-ASEAN Prosecutors-General Conference was convened in Jakarta, Indonesia from July 31 to August 1, 2006. The theme of the conference was "promoting cooperation in combating transnational crimes". Prosecutor-General of China, prosecutors-general, attorneys-general and deputy prosecutors-general, and deputy attorneys-general courtesy from ASEAN member states paid a call on the former President of Indonesia H.E. Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the presidential palace.

About 200 delegates from China and ASEAN member states attended the conference. During the conference, a joint declaration was signed. The conference called on procuratorial organs from China-ASEAN member states giving full play to their respective procuratorial functions, improving law enforcement cooperation to combat transnational crimes effectively.
