The Guardian Star

  December 31, 2025

Green mountains wear new gowns

The river cradles the moonlight's glow

Prosecutors in blue walk along the path

Spring is singing

Justice is growing

I am a star watching over the Zijiang River

With the most persistent eyes

Egrets preen along the riverbank

Ancient trees breathe with the wind

I have seen too many fading scenes

Like scrolls of landscape veiled in shade

While the earth weeps in silence

How many wounds need healing

I love the wonder of the Danxia cliff in Langshan Mountain

Love the verdant green of the Xuefeng Mountains Forest-Sea

Love the meandering of the clear stream of the Fuyi River

Love the delicacy of the Tantou's New Year Prints

I am seeking with all my heart and might

In twilight and dawn

Your cases files weigh heavy and deep

Yet your original aspiration stays gentle

Cleansing the river's stains for me

My wounds run deep like ravines

Yet you stand firm and resolute

Swearing to restore its true essence

You walk with the scorching sun

And fight against wind and rain

Guard the grace of this land with me

Grateful that in the end

With hands of justice

You have healed the earth's silent wounds

Letting starlight fill your pockets

I am a star watching over the Zijiang River

With the clearest eyes

Children play along the shore

Chemney smoke rises from the fields

I hold too many fervent hopes

Carved deep in my heart for this land

And responsibility is as heavy as a mountain

We never give up after long treks

I have trodden the vast expanse of the Nanshan Mountain

Can't see through Yunshan's  thin mist veil

Trace the outlines of ancient towns

Listen to the folk song of the Huayao clan

I search through wind and rain

That figure in blue

Your cases files weigh heavy and deep

Yet your original aspiration stays gentle

Unraveling the roots of violations for me

My scars crisscross like fissures

Yet you shape with the law

Restore peace and harmony as before

You race with time

And grapple with challenges

Guard the immortality passed down through generations

Grateful that in the end

With the stars of the rule of law

Letting hope never cease

Upholding the weight of the public interest for the nation

Measuring all things by the rule of law

Holding dawn and dusk of all in your heart

Understanding the mountains, rivers and lakes beneath

Knowing the deep soil and water

Give the world peace, beauty and liberty

Though obstacles abound

Though pleadings countless

Even if downpours lash and billows thunder

Keep striving with a sincere and loyal heart

Guarding these mountains and rivers' eternal peace

With your hands that guard public interest

May our homeland stay glorious forever
