The Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate recently held a five-day intensive training program at the Beijing Prosecutors College to improve the professional capacity of prosecutors handling foreign-related cases. About 130 leading prosecutors specializing in foreign-related matters from procuratorial organs in Beijing and Tianjin municipalities, Hebei and Shanxi provinces, Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Shenzhen of Guangdong province participated in the program.
Zhang Zhaoxia, First Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

With a focus on foreign-related procuratorial work, the program featured lectures, on-site visits, mini-forums, and seminars. Invited lecturers included leading officials from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the International Cooperation Bureau of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, as well as scholars from prestigious universities such as Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, China Foreign Affairs University, and Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Participants widely acknowledged that the program served as a valuable platform for mutual learning and exchange among prosecutors from the six regions, improving their professional capabilities and strengthening collaboration in building a high-caliber team of foreign-related procuratorial professionals.
Looking ahead, the Beijing procuratorate will continue to make the training program a key pillar of its efforts to build a distinctive brand of foreign-related procuratorial work in the capital, so as to promote the high-quality development of Beijing's foreign-related procuratorial work.
