Shenzhen procuratorates hold training session on foreign-related rule of law for FTZ prosecutors　

The Foreign-Related Rule of Law Research Institute of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Procuratorate and the People's Procuratorate of the Qianhai and Shekou Area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) recently co-hosted the second specialized training session on foreign-related rule of law for procuratorial organs in FTZs across the country.

The five-day session brought together 68 key personnel from procuratorial organs in FTZs across 13 provincial-level regions, namely the municipalities of Tianjin and Chongqing; Hebei, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Guangdong, and Yunnan provinces; and the Inner Mongolia and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous regions, as well as procuratorial organs from nine cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Focusing on foreign-related rule of law and procuratorial practices in FTZs, the session invited renowned experts and scholars with solid theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience to deliver lectures. Topics ranged from international judicial assistance in criminal matters to the exploration of procuratorial practices within FTZs and the handling of foreign-related intellectual property cases.

As part of the training, participants visited the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Legal Services District, where they learned about its pioneering efforts in cross-border legal services, international commercial dispute resolution, and alignment of rules between Shenzhen and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
